OUR HISTORY
In 1954 as a way to provide for his family, Bob Bolin purchased his first Shell Service Station on Florissant Rd in St. Louis MO.

In 1959 Bob opened his second Shell Station on Hwy 19 (now Hwy 367) and Chambers Rd.This station became the first in St. Louis to pump one million gallons per year.1964 brought another change that would shape the future of Bolin Services. Bob sold the Shell Station on Florissant Rd. and opened Bob Bolin Automotive Service on Hwy 67 (N. Lindbergh) then just a two lane road. A full service automotive repair, towing, and one of the first locations to install air conditioning in vehicles, Bob Bolin Automotive, was also the start of the towing and recovery business on a larger scale.
In 1969 the decision was made to quit pumping gas. Bob sold the Shell Station at Hwy 367 and Chambers, and with 12 trucks began towing and recovery full time. In 1979, as a side bar to the business Bob Bolin Automotive started selling Century wreckers, and continued to do this until 1989. That year the name of the company was changed to Bob Bolin Services.
Joined by his sons Mike and Greg, and his daughter Nancy, the business continued to grow and expand, by purchasing the present building in 1990 and adding tractor-trailers and tandem axle flatbed units for equipment hauling.
1997 brought another change. Road One, a nationwide company, bought Bob Bolin Services and Bob retired.
After five decades of dedication to great service, Bolin Services, Incorporated, with Mike and Greg at the helm, continues to grow, and take care of the transportation needs of the midwest
